Replacement Ribbon for Funny Playing’s Game Boy Advance IPS LCD.

  • 1 x IPS Ribbon for Game Boy Advance

Notes

  • Compatible with 32 and 40-pins board.
  • Before installing, Kapton should be used to cover exposed electronics and prevent shorts between the console PCB and the components on the ribbon
  • Please be careful while installing and removing the LCD from the ribbon’s LCD connector, as they are both extremely fragile.

Warning

  • Ribbons are extremely fragile. Any unnecessary folds, heat or pressure could cause permanent damage. Be sure to install carefully.

Replacement

Had a question about the ribbon cable since it just stopped working, Retro Modding sent a replacement for me and now it works perfectly thank you. 10/10 will keep buying from you guys again.

Excellent customer service!

I was asking for tech support and they gave me lots of homework to try and fix the issue of the screen not working. After a while I thought I needed a new screen or whole new donor gameboy but they sent out a new ribbon and that fixed everything!

Ribbon cable

Retromodding is the best, so awesome that they replaced the cable that i just noticed was damaged and what may have been causing the issues with the GBA. Can't wait to get the new one and bring my OG gameboy back from the grave. Thanks!
