  • Improves the responsiveness of the left and right triggers

Notes

  • Tactile switches sold individually, not in pairs
  • We strongly recommend that both tactile switches be replaced at the same time to prevent your L and R trigger buttons from feeling uneven
  • You will need to carefully sand down the blue protrusions on the tactile switches in order for the buttons to fit perfectly into your shell. We recommend testing the tactile switches in your shell periodically while sanding them down to determine the height you find most comfortable

You would think something made for a GBA specifically would fit properly. As mentioned on the site, you have to trim the blue part of the switch to fit under the trigger. HOWEVER, it's not stated that you have to also bend the metal bracket so that it fits in the bottom holes of the PCB. I also had to trim the inside of the shell so that the PCB would fit back with these triggers installed.

Love the clicks!!!!

These are great, but you need to get them straight on the board when installing or your buttons might have issues. I filled the side of the buttons and reflowed the solder to finally get it to function properly! Happy with the results!!! A great upgrade from the stock buttons!!!

they are perfect.
surely you need to make them lower with a file but that gives each person the possibility to adjust them to their favourite style.
Now the experience changes a lot

Good feel, less than ideal fit

Installation is about what you would expect. Desoldering the old switch is kind of a pain, but not bad. Issues arise when you try to mate the shell halves together. I had a hard time getting my buttons to actuate properly in addition to getting significant gaps around the shell halves. Now, I think most of these issues were because of the shell, but these buttons are definitely a bit too tall. I cut out material from the buttons, but you could sand the tops of the buttons, too. But once you get fit correct they feel really nice.
