Not as good as originals

If your original silicone pads are in working order, I recommend using those instead. These feel much thinner, giving a mushier button feel. But if they are your only option, they are a suitable replacement.

Honest thoughts on the gamecube replacement button pads

Honestly i was about to write these off but after ordering 5 for older model gamecube controllers, these worked perfectly and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to refurbish their old worn out gamecube controller. Just keep in mind, newer gamecube controllers like the smash bros editions won't work with these pads as they are too taller for them. But for the older models with simple colors of purple, orange, or black, these are a perfect option for replacement

Amazing pads

They feel really tactile and responsive. If you have an older controller with pads that have seen enough smashing for 3 lifetimes then I highly recommend getting these. It really makes your controller feel new.

These button pads are snappy, accurate, and don't 'mush' under pressure (resulting in missed inputs) like a lot of other buttons pads for the GameCube Controller. These button pads are the only ones I would recommend for someone serious about playing Smash on a GameCube controller.
