      Only two things missing...

      While the installation of the screen went easily, but is not for the faint of heart, some case modification is necessary. One problem was the dearth of good instrction videos available for the install. Once in, the screen performed excellently, but one option that would be nice is to have the ability to control how much backlight the screen displays. This would serve two purposes: allowing the user to adjust for both bright and dim environments and extending battery life. Performance wise, this screen is very good, it renders the colors on the games accuately and displays the artificially colorized B+W gameboy games well. Overall, a good choice for an easy to install screen.

      Fits well!

      Fits my "Nintendo Game Boy Color TFT Drop-in Backlight Mod with Color Palettes" screen with only a small bar at the bottom... or top depending on where you mounted the screen. Honestly looks OEM to me.

      If you're going to upgrade your GBC with a TFT LCD, why not add a new glass screen that fits the reduced viewing area. I found the fit to be a perfect match.
