This works perfectly with the gameboy color. Finally I wont have to worry about leaking batteries but will always have power! The gameboy does not pull alot of power so some battery banks may go to sleep. With the funny playing ips mod the power consumption goes up enough to keep the battery banks I have awake.

I have not used it yet but it seems legit. I was a little unhappy it did not come with the sticker or whatever is on the usb plug in the picture. I think it is better than the other one I purchased because it sends 5v to my device when it is meant to run off two aa batteries. Not sure which is better when I add an ips display?

This cable is perfect. I got 2 of them. One of them tested at 3.3v and the other was 3.4v which seems fine to me. So it really does work. This also works with the neo geo color. I wish they were a little longer in length but they are still decent length. I highly recommend it.

Perfect to play for longer time without battery, especially with the LCD screen because it take more power.

Works as it should and am glad I can use a USB power bank instead of going through AA batteries now!

Bought 2 cables. Both seem flimsy around the usb connector part. Tried using them with 2 different gameboys but it's kinda impossible because even slight movement makes the gameboys reset themselves.
I do not recommend this product.

I don't have to worry about buying batteries anymore, I just carry around one battery pack and this wire and I'm good.

Powers up my Gameboy Color and Pocket just fine. I absolutely do not keep batteries in my Gameboy (unless it's on the go), and having one of these plugged in at home is a perfect solution for pickup and play. Recommended!

Bought it for my modded MGB. With the IPS screen the battery life is really short, so this cable is perfect for not spending all my salary on batteries.
After a couple of weeks of using it, I totally reccomend it! :D

It is comptable with my power bank and a wall plug. Plus it is very good quality.

No issues with this cable so far. It will save you time and effort when testing out mods. I also like that I can plug it into a powerbank as I generally carry one around.

This is such a cool idea and the fact it's designed to be 3.2v 1.2a is the dealmaker for me!
I will definitely be using it for vacations.

Works great, paired with a power bank there's no comparison to lugging around expensive batteries.

Now that I've added an IPS display and flash cart to my pocket I found I could only get a few hours of game time. With this cable and a battery pack I'm able to play for much longer when I'm away from a power supply.
