    Nice case

    Nice product.
I purchased the wabi sabi. Wish the trigger temp is a bit higher. The weather is getting warm so the case is in natural color most of the time.
Everything fits together nicely, except one screw post near the directional pad. I need to trim off 1.5mm for the case to close perfectly.
The plastic is a bit soft. It's easy to trim the case for the funnyplaying IPS screen and drill a hole for the pro sound mod.

Color Changing Shell for Game Boy

Product arrived damaged, not due to the merchant’s fault. The merchant made it right, and for that I’m grateful.

Really Neat Quality Shell, No "Nintendo" Logo

The color change gimmick is very cool, shell is high quality, fits together well and doesn't show stress like older, cheaper ones do. Only bad thing I have to say is there's no "Nintebdo Gameboy" logo on the face. I had to source labels from etsy to fix that. Recommended

    It's awesome

I love this thing! Currently too warm out but it's will be awesome in all the other seasons. Nice colors as well. I wish there were some gor the other hand helds.

    Threshold seems a bit off

I got the Purple Haze colour variant for this shell and while the colours are great and the colour changing is really cool, the threshold for changing seems appreciably lower than the nominal 22ºC. I haven’t been able to identify its exact threshold but the shell seems essentially stuck in “hot” mode at most reasonable room temperatures. It changes to “cool” mode in a refrigerator and outside on brisk early spring days, but would not change when placed in front of an AC set to ~18ºC. Still looks good stuck in green, though, and probably works better for the right circumstances.

Item was not as pictured it was a straight purple not purple to pink and when I messaged about returning the item I received no response

    Hi Ben,

Thank you for this review. We are sad to hear about the disappointment. Unfortunately, this shell is color changing, and does not stay as shown on the picture. We are sorry about the confusion.

Novelty Shell in a Gorgeous Color

The Hyperwave shell is so pretty, and the color change is such a nice combination. I definitely want to pick up the other shells in the collection: they're so cool and such a novel concept!

    Fun!

These are a fun novelty. I personally find Hyperwave to be the most visually pleasing and satisfying.
