Great Replacement Speaker

Bought this speaker to replace the broken one in my GBC. Once you figure out how it fits in the housing differently than the original, you're good to cut the wires and solder to the board. Works great!

Solid speaker!

I put it into a Game Boy Pocket; the original speaker was very busted. The new one sounds great! Straight onto the original board, so I think it's about the same volume as the original. Compared to an OEM, I think it has a bit more clarity, but can't confirm.

All in all, very pleased with it.

It is great!

It functions perfectly and is as described. My only little gripe is that the cables that it is attached to were long and I didn't have the proper tool to shorten it. A suggestion is to have it cut to a smaller, proper length for anyone purchasing them.

Great replacement, just not authentic enough

My original Gameboy Color speaker has gone a little quieter over the years. It wasn’t gone and I decided to replace it anyways. It worked, great. However for a minor inconvenience. I could tell the difference. It sounded great but was not 100% authentic sounding. I decided to swap them back. I have a GBA that I know it will work better for anyways. Final thoughts, great replacement if you don’t have the ear.
