Coque pour Game Boy Advance SP

I got the glow in the dark "green" (it's more of a turquoise imo). it's so cool. really gives you that purple n64 controller feel but better because it glows in the dark. It was more challenging than I expected to put together since some of the screw threads are pretty tight. Plus the part you snap on under the screen is a little loose and can stick up, so I have to watch out for that when I open and close the screen. I'm trying to glue it down. could be better made but overall I love it still. I left the back sticker off so I can see what game is in my SP :)

I purchased the Green Glow in the dark shell to replace my old scratched and dinged up grey OEM shell, and man what an upgrade. It looks beautiful and feels great in the hands, only downside like the buttons is that it doesn't glow very bright even in pure darkness, but is still beautiful even in the light. It looks VERY bright in the picture, but I think that's because of iPhone camera, it's very dim in real life.

Good quality shell (no hinges), but there was a plastic seam I ended up having to remove with a dremel in order to properly seat the IPS screen. Not a large issue with opaque shells but be aware of the cosmetic change on a transparent shell. Double-sided logo sticker was also a bit tricky, the adhesive is easy to tear. Serial number sticker is good as well. Did not use the provided screws.

Shipping arrived very fast for all the way to the Netherlands! Extremely surprised by the quality as it feels just the same as my genuine GBA shell, also surprised by what came with the shell! Included are buttons fit for the shell it came with, metal housing for cartridge slot and even a replacement lense!!! Will buy again if I ever repair another GBA

Bought the majora mask colour, like the quality and comes with all the screws needed, although is just reused the screws from my old shell.
Case is a little stiff with the hinge but I suspect it will loosen over time

Great and almost looks real one

Really like the look and feel of this atomic purple shell. This shell is unpainted and feels better than the painted ones I've acquired in the past. No need to sand down the hinges. No unpleasant smells.

Love love love this shell. The only thing i am nervous about is there is a little gap between the connective plastic pieces on the left side rim of screen. Amazing product though, love seeing through the gba sp

Super quick arrival, showed up in less than a week - even with a snow storm and negative temps.

All the pieces came in perfect, hardware came in with extra pcs in case you loose the tiny screws - and they even sent me a sticker + googly eyes to decorate my Advance SP shell - got the clear one, and it came with glow in the dark buttons!!

Super happy with how my Nintendo looks now, thank you Retro Modding.

Came quickly, shell feels VERY high quality with all parts sitting flush with one another. No complaints from me! 10/10

Gorgeous shells, would buy again <3

I got one of these because I’d seen a lot of people online have good experiences. I was excited at first when I put it on my modded SP, but after a short period of time found too many flaws. Lint under the paint, uneven trim lines, creaky/cracky feel, gaps in the plastic, the opening/closing was squeaky and stiff. Not to mention it was supposed to be trimmed for the IPS screen but I had to trim some of the internal plastic by hand to make it fit. I used all the original screws, except for the battery cover screw. And when I tried to remove the battery cover to upgrade my battery, the screw stripped really easily, so I had to break that part off and just scrap the shell. Using my original shell now and much happier. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re a bit of a perfectionist. Sidenote- the “light gold” color is pretty, but much more just “gold” in person than the image shown on their site.

Unfortunately just by being in my backpack for a couple of day it chipped and cracked in a couple of places.

no issue. but be aware you can over tighten which cause to lose the screw strip from the shell. but other than that. it a perfect placement

The shell came with replacement screws and the nubs for hiding the screws on the screen. It was high quality, and easy to assemble.

The plastic molded parts are okay but not up to Nintendo quality. There is excess plastic in the seams between parts of the mold used in the manufacturing process that should be removed prior to being received by the customer. In the slot for the power button and volume buttons, there are small pieces of plastic that I had to remove. This is true for the screen window edges as well.also true for the seam that connects the twoajor halves of the lower she'll enoseing the motherboard and buttons.

years ago i tried ordering replacement shells on amazon and those shells were pretty bad. this replacement shell is so much better. it comes with screws and buttons. the funny playing version doesnt have buttons, but looks clear and functions so well with rgb button lights

The shell is really good and durable, not that I've dropped it or anything just that it's held up really well and still looks brand new, as well as being comfortable to hold. The only negative I've got about the shell is that I bought one of the retro modding makho batteries and the battery cover now doesn't sit flush.

I had to use ome screws. I ended up breaking the battery cover off because the screw attach to it stripped very easily.
