Si vous recherchez un écran LCD rétroéclairé net et de taille standard pour votre Game Boy, ne cherchez pas plus loin que ce kit LCD IPS. Ce kit contient tout le nécessaire pour offrir à votre ancienne DMG un tout nouvel écran lumineux. De plus, la zone d'affichage est identique à celle de l'écran d'origine : aucun objectif spécial n'est donc requis !

Le kit à monter soi-même vous fournira tout le nécessaire pour installer cet écran LCD et nécessitera quelques soudures pour le haut-parleur Game Boy (non inclus).

Notes

Il s'agit d'un produit de rechange et il se peut qu'il ne soit pas identique à son homologue d'origine.
Une légère modification de la coque est nécessaire ; il s’agit de couper les ergots de vis situés à l’intérieur, sur la face avant. Cette opération peut être réalisée à l’aide d’une pince coupante.
L'affichage de la batterie à l'écran est une estimation approximative et peut ne pas être précis.

Nous vous recommandons vivement de tester l'écran avant de l'installer dans votre console. Veuillez suivre nos instructions. Afficher Essai Guide pour vérifier le bon fonctionnement du kit avant la fixation de l'adhésif, le retrait du film protecteur de l'écran ou toute soudure non critique à la nappe ou au circuit imprimé du pilote. Nous ne pouvons accepter ni les retours ni les échanges de kits ayant été installés dans une console. Des pièces de rechange individuelles peuvent être disponibles dans la section « Inclus » ci-dessus.
Le ruban est très fragile, manipulez-le avec précaution pour éviter de l'endommager.
Une pression excessive peut endommager l'écran de façon permanente ; ne forcez pas la fermeture du boîtier autour de l'écran LCD. Assurez-vous que le boîtier est correctement ajusté à l'écran avant de tenter de l'installer.

My DMG has been given new life

I honestly never thought that I would want to play games on my original Game Boy again. With this installed, I can't imagine playing them any other way. Installation was easy. Soldering was reasonable even though I haven't soldered in ~7 years. The color palettes are a nice touch, too. All-in all this was a great kit and I'm happy with the results.

Nice screen, easy to install

Very nice customizeable palette option. Easy to install, no custom screen protector needed and minimal case trimming. Some of the color settings are not very precise and it can be hard to dial colors in. The screen has a little ghosting and some horizontal artifacts can be seen with some color settings especially lower saturation. But overall it's a million times better than an original backlit screen and way, way easier to install. Haven't encountered any annoying button issues. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Awesome Replacement!

This is a really nice kit that is easy to install. Don’t pay a ton of money for Gameboy DMG. Find one on the cheap that has a broken screen and buy this kit. The 9 year old version of myself would have lost his mind to have a GB with a backlit LCD screen in 1990. Fast shipping and well packaged!

Good kit, easy to install, although viewing angles get a bit wonky and the color desaturates when looking at the screen at extreme angles

It's okay.

Not bad if you are wanting to use an original size lens. I really don't like the black border around the display though, it's too big. It's also lacking a bunch of features that the V4 had. In my opinion the V4 is far superior if you don't mind using a lens with a larger window. It does however work great!

Excellent Screen

Everything was incredibly simple to put in. The only hard part was the soldering and cutting the posts on the shell. (Don't forget to cut the place for the contrast wheel)

This kit is great! Works just as it's says it does. Screen is a lot better the factory one, it's night and day difference. I love all the color options and being able to fine tune them if needed. If your on the fence about this kit.......just buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic! New IPS v5 screen for my original Game Boy works just as advertised! My original screen broke (showed horizontal lines) since 1994. Swapping the original for the IPS v5 was all I had to do, and now it works even better than when I got the Game Boy brand new in 1991!
