Created in 2016, Retro Modding® is a North American online store developing and distributing all the parts needed to repair and mod handheld consoles.
Proud of years of expertise, we create, manufacture, and produce our own line of replacement parts, including shells for the original Game Boy and NES controller, start-select silicon pads, USB-C battery packs for GBA, Game Boy cartridges, and even Neo Geo MVS Cartridges! We are also proud to support small creators like Nathalie the Nerd by selling or producing their parts.
In search of offering better services and products, we merged in 2016 with Canadian Game Boy modding pioneers ASM, leading Retro Modding® to be one of the oldest online modding stores. In 2021, we were proud to introduce Neptune: the first-ever Marble cast Game Boy Shell.
Since 2023, operations of Retro Modding have shifted to Springfield, Missouri, USA to enhance services for American customers.
