EZ-Flash Air

My product arrived quickly and I was notified of its delivery to my home throughout the entire shipping process. I also feel that $40 is incredibly fair compared to other flashcarts. I am very satisfied with the features that the EZ Flash Air offers. I played Pokemon Pinball and was delighted to feel Rumble in my GBA SP. I am also pleased to revive my Pokemon Emerald save file, as the EZ Flash Air provides a Real Time Clock. I wish there was save state functionality, but it makes the console feel more close to the original which did not have this feature. I do not like having to delete the last game written to the NOR Flash to delete a game higher up the list, but I compromise with it by taking a picture of my current list. I wish the SD card was spring-loaded so I can easily remove it. I'm afraid I might mess it up when I remove and re-insert it. Overall, I am very happy to pair this with an IPS V5 screen and replacement shell. This 20+ year old console has new life. Thank you RetroModding!! 😎💫

The Air was easy to set up and it runs just fine, but there's a gap between the MicroSD reader and the case that caused the card to get into the case by accident. I was able to remove the fallen card from the case interior without unscrewing the case, so it worked out.

I received one of these that was horribly defective at first. I spoke to customer support and they sent me a replacement which works the way I expected it would. I don't recommend this if you have a large library of games, but for a handful you Luke to jump between, it's great. The only game I've had any issues with with the new unit was a rom hack, so that's on me probably.

fits all the games for my kids perfectly, a little difficult for them to navigate, but repetition is the master of learning

I was very excited to receive the product, but that initial excitement eventually dissolved into disappointment. Upon first use, everything went well, until around the second day when I noticed that my games would crash constantly. There was no pattern, sometimes it would crash on launch, and sometimes it would crash mid game after showing no issues. Overall, the Norflash system is incredibly flawed, and it seems the more you write and delete from the Norflash, the more unstable your cartridge becomes, eventually crashing every game that you try to launch.

I bought the EZflash air to allow me to play my rarer carts on the go without risk of loosing them.super easy to setup and is my go too.

Works great. i had been waiting with the microsd to just plug it in. It works great. And they even sent a fun little extra toy with it. Gave me a good laugh. Thank you guys.

Doesn’t work good crashes and freezes often

I ordered this as a Christmas present for my sister. When the shipping information didn't update immediately, I set up a support ticket and I was very pleased with this website's communication. They assured me that if the shipping information didn't update, they were going to mail me a replacement to arrive before Christmas. Luckily that wasn't needed. I did have some hiccups with the setup of the device. But my stepson was able to help me and I feel like we got to a point where it is usable for my sister. Definitely would recommend this website and this product

EZ-Flash Air

I mainly bought this to test homebrew projects I been cooking on hardware, also tested some retail ROMs on it. And runs about as expected aside from a few titles save data not working properly.

Other buyers should be aware of some of the compromises this device has, such as relying on the battery to maintain save data, and having to flash ROM data before being able to play and such. The save data issue is mostly mitigated by the SD card save backup that you can make each time the device is booted, but you would still need to replace the battery if it died.

I have seen some info online saying this flashcart can run DS games, I have not tested it on a DS myself but I highly doubt that is actually the case(the firmware does not allow me to flash DS games, and its storage is too small to have many DS games on it anyways) It does however have some DS specific features for games that support it, such as features for linking save data from 3rd gen pokemon games making it possible to transfer to 4th gen games. And has rumble support.

As a tool for testing GBA homebrew it serve the job well enough, and for playing most games it works fine for the price.

I’ve tested the flash air on a gba and gba sp as well as a ds and ds lite. They all work perfectly and play and load games great. Flashing the games onto the memory is fast and easy and can fit more than enough at one time. I also love the extra features such as the clock battery support and the ds rumble feature. 100% would recommend this to people who love gba!
