One of the Game Boy Advance SP's drawbacks is it's lack of a built-in headphone jack. This nifty adapter uses the EXT 2 charging port to allow you to use your standard heaphones while playing SP. It's perfect for players who want to game on the go!

  • This product is not intended for use with TRRS (tip, ring, ring, sleeve) headsets. TRRS cables typically include left and right audio channels as well as a microphone channel. If there are three rings on the head of the cable, your headset may not be compatible with this product.
  • This is an aftermarket product and may not perform the same way as its genuine counterpart.

Works great

Good fit, headphones sound good through it. Doesn't have issues other adapters on amazon have like swapping the stereo output or the fit being too tight. The picture listed on here is a little odd - was thinking it would be a dark blue or have a translucency to it. It's a plain black adapter, which is what I wanted anyways.

Does what it does!

I've been using the GBA SP to make chiptune for 10+ years and these dongles used to always be hard to find and/or very hit or miss in quality. This one has been working solid as I've used it daily for the past 3 weeks. Fits well, doesn't short or jiggle, and the sound is good. Worth it!
