As an alternative to using four AA batteries, the original Game Boy includes a DC power supply jack that allows players to use an AC adapter to power their console . If you're tired of your batteries dying at the worst possible moment, this product is perfect for those long play session.

NOTE: Be sure to remove batteries from your console prior to use; not doing so can cause a fuse to blow on your console.

New adapters, work good

I love these AC adapters. They are hard to find even in the internet. Retro Modding has it. I love them they are new adapters and in unused packaging. They work very well with my Game Boy consoles, the difference is just they are not orginal Game Boy AC adapters. The shipping time is decent. Thanks Retro Modding.

Fits loose, too long

It's impossible to use this for playing, the fit is loose so there are constant power drops, and the cable is only 2 feet long.

It is too long as is shown in the picture, that is not because of the new case, it was too long in the original also.

There also seems to be some thing loose inside the adapter itself. So sometimes it loses power at one end, sometimes the other.

Basically this thing seems like a giant fire hazard.
