This custom, plug-and-play, Game Boy Advance SP Battery stands out from other alternatives by providing a true 900 mAh capacity to your GBA SP, enough to fuel newer IPS LCDs for hours on end.

This item consists of our custom iteration of Makho's GBASP Battery Board. It's assembled in a custom-made 3D printed housing (available for free on our Thingiverse) and uses replaceable high quality 900 mAh LiPo batteries, like our other battery pack products.

Notes

  • A Phillips Screwdriver is required to remove the battery door separately
  • Although the LiPo manufacturer claims a capacity of 900 mAh battery life, exact capacity may vary (usually higher).
  • Please note that batteries are prohibited from being shipped into Germany. Orders to Germany will be canceled and refunded. Unfortunately, this situation is out of our control. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
  • Our battery packs are produced in-house, meaning some production time is always involved. Each battery goes through a rigorous quality assurance process before shipping.
  • With a minor modification, you are able to use this battery with the original Nintendo DS.

Works great had to get another one for another gameboy. It lasts up to 3-4 hours even with a ips screen and rgb lighting kit. I recommend geting this than a cheap chinese aftermarket battery from amazon or ebay. A note you need to drain it and charge it to full one or twice to get the full capicity.

Dies fast

I was very excited for this battery, but it only lasts me about an hour and a half with my brightness low before the light indicator turns red. It's my second battery that I purchased and I was hoping this one would be the last. I'm happy with the delivery time.

Battery didn't work.

Reached out the company after the battery didn't work/charge.

No reply from this company. Very unsatisfied.

Hello Jordan, we have recently identified and addressed a notification bug in our messaging system. So we know we definitely did fail to respond. Sorry about that. After fixing the notification bug we were able to respond via email a couple of days ago to provide a solution. We have not heard back from you yet, so will try to reach out again soon. Sorry again for the delay; this one was our fault.

I think it worked

Once I tried it with my GBA SP stopped working. I guess the battery it's too powerful for my device 😀 before charging to the new battery it barely worked because the GBA drained it like crazy (about 15 minutes or less) now it shut down completely and won't work with both batteries 🤷

Works perfectly electrically, however the cover no longer fully closes. Might try leaving it under some weight to see if that helps flatten the battery
