The Game Boy Advance SP has a tendency to output a low hum, especially if modded with an IPS LCD. This flex PCB design by Helder's Game Tech is meant to be an easy-to-install solution, to help reduce the noise on modded consoles.

great mod

this amp is great as adding with the ado amp make its much more louder and cleaner than the stock sowing for my gameboy. no more buzzing sound anymore

Not as easy as some claim

Be careful installing this. It’s not the makers fault but I lifted a capacitor from the motherboard (c63) installing this and had to get a new motherboard because I’m an idiot. Haven’t tested it yet but someday I’ll fix that motherboard and test the power cleaner.

Really helps when using in combo with an amp.
Sound is much cleaner and has less buzzing.
