Glass Screen Lens for Game Boy Advance IPS LCD

I ordered the pre trimmed shell from this site as well and it wasn’t as described. It was not perfectly fit for the IPS screen display and now there is a bit of border bleed on all edges due to the gap. Also, it said they would be already precut for the battery mod and they were not either.

Glass screen is smaller than the stock front face plate of a GBA handheld console. Rendering it useless and a waste of purchase

Does what it's supposed to do

I haven't tested the durability since I keep it in a case, but so far it installed fine. It is clean and clear. Depending on the shell, you could accidentally install it a little off center so just be careful.

Wow this really shocked me on how well the color matched everything. I went with an all white aesthetic and this completed the look! Will for sure be ordering this again!

Screen works great. It's very bright even without soldering. Used this with the pretrimmed shell, which was ok, just had to do a few modifications which I was aware of. Otherwise, everything worked well

If you were going to do 1 mid to your gba this is the one!

The instructions for installation give a very broad assumption that you know how to unplug all wires, or what screws to take out etc. I'm fairly certain the ribbon cable connector came loose from the motherboard during installation due to my lack of knowledge on how to disconnect the stock wiring. I attempted to solder it back to the motherboard with no luck. Had the installation instruction been more detailed I'm sure that this item would have worked. I will never know however.

I originally had this lens on my modded GBA and it was great. Only thing I didn't like was that it didn't have a logo. The quality is top notch and I have it stashed away as a back up. Only reason I replaced it was I found a lense that had a red GBA logo that fit my color scheme

Lense was good quality but it bugs me not having the Gameboy log so I ended up keeping is as a spare

I like the feeling of the glass lens. Less worries about scratching and it polishes up nice!

Very nice lens, fit extremely well and puts a nice finish on the mod process. For the price you can’t beat it.

Really nice screen, and easy to install. I love the bigger size, compared to oem.

The screen is exceptional. It does exactly what you expect, and the soldering is minor, unnecessary if you don't need to control the backlight. However, I used an original GBA shell and there is NO GUIDE I could find that accurately described what you must cut for it to fit. Every visual I saw is either incorrect or they assume you are using a repro shell because you have to cut effectively the entire right wall away, and then some. The aligning bracket is required in my opinion, but using that and patience will yield a great finished product.
