LED Board for Game Boy Advance

Extremely satisfied with what i received. Easy to apply to Gameboy. The instructions were really good and thorough.

This board is relatively easy to install with basic soldering skills and is a good product. The finished product looks super cool.

Did a while to adapt it for the Freeplay Tech mod but result is awesome :)

I havent had the time to install yet but with the clear gba shell, paired with red clear buttons and an IPS screen i think itll look great!

I'll go ahead and say, it helps if you read ALL the instructions lol. Once I did that, it was super simple lol. It works great!

They work as intended and weren’t too hard to solder, though I’d use a fatter tip to get it to stick to the board. They are also VERY bright with clear cases so take the extra time to solder the LED on/off switches. Your batteries and eyes will thank you. Amazing product!

Knowing we need a wire, it would be nice to include one. However, there are other boards that are connected all the way across which would be super helpful and require less soldering. Just a thought. Works great nonetheless, just borderline too complicated for the average modder.

Easy installation, LEDs are VERY bright. I have a crystal clear shell, and they may be so bright they're too distracting to play lol. I'll definitely pick up that control board & play around with brightness, but I am very happy so far!

Easy install. Missing 30g wire required to connect the boards though.

It worked amazingly and the lights are very bright. I did have some issues with the sodering not sticking to each point but that's a skill issue not a product issue. There is a problem though. To connect the board from the dpad side to the a and b buttons you need a wire to do that and the package doesn't come with any kind of wire for it which isn't to bad but it wasn't mentioned in the description that I would need a wire.

One of the easiest mods I’ve installed. If you have minimal soldering experience this will be a walk in the park for you.

This is a fun colorful add-on. I don't think it drains the battery too much either.

Really changes the look of the GBA. Only recommendation is to install a switch or brightness level as using it during nighttime can get bright on the eyes.

The actual installation of the board was so easy and the extra soldering spots help a lot with simplifying a new screen.

Exactly what I was expecting. I like that it has solder pads you can wire your own dedicated switch (which I did, works perfectly), or just bridge them for the "always on" option

Really nice to have buttons with lights behind them. Very nice aesthetic on the GBA

I have been modding my GBA for a while, this mod is easy to install, and bring a great look to your gba! I love it!!

It was easy to install and just works. The lights look amazing.
The downside is the LED control board has been out of stock for months and it seems like it should be an essential part of this mod, otherwise the LEDs sometimes are way too bright (brighter than a funnyplaying screen at max brightness) so when you play in the dark it gets tiring on the eyes.
I've been told this would be restocked sometimes next year.

Fantastic! Super easy to install. The creator Natalie the Nerd has a updated multi color version coming out soon (Arc GBA) that I've had the chance to try out, definitely worth it when it drops!

Easy to install and works great. Remember if you want to be able to turn it off when your playing buy the switch board as well.
