Helder's Game Tech GBC Power Regulator

As your console ages, issues with power supply such as display flickering or excess noise can become more common. Modern components such as IPS displays, amplifiers and flash carts can exacerbate these issues. In many cases the cause is related to the power regulation, and in the case of the the Game Boy Color this is done by the 'DC power board’. Helder’s Game Boy Color Power Regulator has been created to help resolve these issues.

Features

• Simple install (3 solder points, one leg cut and one cap removed)
  
• Boosts various battery Voltages (from NiMH to LiPo)
• Outputs max 400mAh on AA batteries, max 800mAh on Lipo batteries (it's recommended that a Lipo battery is used when using an amplifier)
• Large high quality capacitor that cleans noise associated with the power rail helping clean the audio
• Can be used with or without the OEM DC Power Board. (See notes below)

• Colors may vary from what you see on your display
• This is an aftermarket product and may not feel identical to its genuine counterpart
  
• Completely removing the original DC board will limit you to using only IPS displays. The original display requires the other voltages provided by the original DC board.
